Free Help Is Always Welcome

I am 83 years old and live with a friend who is 81. We are like sisters: her weaknesses are my strengths and vice versa. My husband and I were divorced after our four children were grown and gone from home and he had retired from the US Air Force. He married again, but both he and his wife are deceased. I thought I would qualify for Tri-Care, but was told I do not. I live on Social Security and what little I can make selling plants in the summer. My friend's Social Security is quite a bit less than mine, but she has an annuity which supplements. She also owns our home. The Medicare Part D Rx is very complicated and confusing. Our pharmacist has helped my friend and me decide what plan is best for each of us. I take a lot of vitamins and need very few medications, but my friend's medications are very expensive. Together we are able to pay the price, but there is very little left over after living expenses for anything else. If we were'nt living together, neither of us would be able to make ends meet and buy the necessary medications. Free Help is always welcome with our heart felt thanks.
