Married with Children

I am a stepmother of 2 teenagers. I have not yet reached my 30th birthday, and have been diagnosed with cancer. Through many tests, follow-ups, and specialist referrals, plus the gas prices, it has drained us financially and spiritually. My husband has had MRSA and had to get costly antibiotics. Now, I have a sore that resembles MRSA like my husband's. Now I will have to go to the doctor, be charged for tests, and get temporary antibiotics until the results come back, thus costing me more to get a stronger anitbiotic. I suffer from chronic bronchitis, though I quit smoking recently, due to my cancer diagnosis. Every winter, I get bronchitis in the worst way. Arthritis kicks in about this time, too. My husband is out of work due to injury, and been rejected for disability. We have no income or health insurance. My stepson pays our bills. That is embarassing.
