No Prescription coverage
When I retired early I needed to buy my own health care insurance.
I opted for a high deductible HSA policy to keep the premium affordable.
Those policies have no prescription component.
Some drugs I can get as a generic which saves money; the others i have the get the brand name and pay the 'cash price'
I don't know how people manage that are getting by on a very modest income.
May be the new administartion will institute a nationwide coverage for everybody with modest co-pays.
