My liver transplant story

Wednesday, February 14th, 2007

I was diagnosed with hepatitis C from a blood transfusion. Over the course of 20 years, it destroyed my liver, resulting in a liver transplant in October 2004. Prior to that, I was sick on and off for 2 years, resulting in constant hospitalizations. I did have a wonderful supportive family who helped me tremendously during this very trying time in my life. Although I’m happy and doing well right now and thank God for my second chance at life.

I want to quit smoking now

Tuesday, February 13th, 2007

I want to quit smoking but the medication I was prescribed by my doctor is very expensive. I need help. A pharmacist friend of mine told me about this prescription plan that will help cover the cost of my medication. Many of his patients are already taking advantage of this plan and are saving a lot of money off the cost of their prescription drugs.

Changes in healthcare

Sunday, February 11th, 2007

With all of the changes in health insurance these days, my employer has changed out insurance benefits. We now have a High Deductible Health Plan. What that means to me is a family deductible of $5600!!! We have no prescription coverage until we meet that deductible. So that means paying for all of our prescriptions out of pocket. While talking to a friend, she recommended me to this site to use for my prescriptions. I cannot wait to receive my card and get the benefits. Thank you

At 72 years young on a fixed income managing finances is a daunting challenge, especially when you have limited health insurance and need regular medications that can be very costly.

Having to choose between paying a utility bill or purchasing medication is stressfully to say the least. Thank goodness for Prescription Plans such as FREE PHARMACY PLAN. The savings make a BIG difference in helping me to maintain my lifestyle.
