Laid Off
Wednesday, April 25th, 2007Worked 20 years for a fortune 500 company hoping to retire. On my 20th anniversary date (to the day), the fine HR people handed me my walking papers. Since then, there were not too many companies that were looking for a good ole' US born manufacturing engineer since most of the USmanufacturing is now done overseas.
Getting my own insurance is bleeding me of the savings I used to have with as a full time employee. The free pharmacy plan is just the kind of help I really need to survive with a family of 7.

Saving Money
Tuesday, April 24th, 2007I have used the card three times now and have saved over $100 combined.
I will pass the word on to other parents who don't have prescription coverage so that they too can save.
This is a fantastic plan. I thought it was too good to be true, but it's for real!

HIGH prices
Tuesday, April 24th, 2007WHy are prescriptions so high? And why does the insurance companies have the right to deny payment for medicines that our Dr's prescribe? I wish our country would take some pointers from our neighbors to the north, Canada…if it werent so cold all the time, I would certainly move for the free health care and drug program

No Insurance
Monday, April 23rd, 2007I am a 23 year old student with a new born. Every time I deal with my health I have to pay huge out of pocket costs. Its becoming a big deal and more than I can afford. This plan has helped me but I was recently turned down at my local pharmacy in Homer, AK. Iam hoping to get a new card and try again. I have no insurance and wish the US would have national health care. Canada has a program and it works well. Everyone could have healthcare with the money the US spends on wars in the middle east.
