These are trying times…

Thursday, August 16th, 2007

My husband has lost his job and these times have gotten harder. It's ben hard for him to find a job. Medical bills and prescriptions have continued to pile up. I'm hoping that by having this prescription drug plan will help alleviate some of the cost. At least there will be one thing in our life that will be easier to cope with.

I lost my insurance of natural causes

I simply turned into an adult and they took my hawki insurance plan away. I met the qualifications of course I am nineteen and going off to college (so I'm not in highschool anymore) and every other option is just to expensive. Neither my dad or me can afford them.
I feel like I need all the help I can get, I need to be able to afford my medication.

In Aug. of 2005 I was forced to retire from my Certified Nursing Asst. (CNA) job. While waiting for my Social Security Disability to be approved, I was eligible for State Medicaid Asst. As soon as I got my SSD, I was no longer eligible for State Asst. and I have to wait until May of 2008 to become eligible for Medicare. I have several prescriptions, but one in particular cost me $140.00, each month !! I feel our Government needs to make major changes in our Healthcare for people like me who have worked and paid taxes all my adult life, sometimes working two jobs at once. I have to pay my family doctor cash, but I have not seen my Polio doctor in one year because I don't have the money.(He costs lots of money) I wear a brace on my right leg and I have been having problems with my left leg also. I am so frustrated. And BROKE !!!!
