Miracle

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

I was diagnosed with having an incompetent cervix after going into labor prematurely in 2006. I actually was in labor for 2 WEEKS! The doctors tried all the could to prevent my early birth. I had my first born child 16 weeks prematurely. She weighed 1lb 3oz. and she stayed in the NICU for 2 1/2 months. She is now 18 months old and doing well. I continue to see my doctor about my problem. If I want more children I will have to have a series of medication to assist in the process. I am so gratefully though to have my Miracle baby!

Cancer

Sunday, August 5th, 2007

I recently found out I had cancer and was really scared.
I had to go thru chemo and radiation and then an operation. And I was still scared.
My Oncologist and my Radiation doctors told me to let them do the worrying. It was their job to cure me. It was not my job to worry. That was very hard, needless to say, to turn my life over to two strangers.
But, it worked. And now I'm scanning Cancer free. I pray everyday that the next scan will be free also.
Sometimes you just have to trust other people. And even doctors are strangers to you. When your life is at stake it's still very difficult to trust completely one or two men to keep you alive.
And you don't really–because God is the one who has control of your life and the hands of the doctors you performed all the necessary procedures to keep you alive.

out of work

Sunday, August 5th, 2007

I have recently started my own business as a cleaning service and at first I did pretty well, now for the last 2 months I can't find much work. My family and I have been through a lot lately. I can't afford personal medical insurance and am on four monthly medications and am struggling just ti pay the bills. I am single and have no help right now.
