Ive lost my home due to illness and no insurance.

Tuesday, January 15th, 2008

With no insurance, and no way to pay to keep up with the cost of hospital bills piling up, the cost of my medications to stave off the pain, and the injuries sustained while hurt at work, not to mention the time I lost FROM work, Ive managed to lose everything I own. Including my dignity and pride. Any little bit that could possibly help save, so maybe I could eat 1 meal in a day instead of none, or maybe even 2 instead of 1….that would be great. By the way…I lost my job when I couldn't pay for my medications to get better so I could return to work. Now, I have no job.
Thanks, America. I am one of the few Americans thinking outside the capitalist propaganda pushing for socialized medicine.

Living with Pain

Tuesday, January 15th, 2008

Since I been 12 years old I have suffered everyday with back pain. No solutions have helped except for stretching, massage, and constant chiropractic adjustments. I recently found a therapy that has helped dramatically - The DRX 9000. I haven't finished the course of treatment, but after only 5 visits and quite a bit of $$$ it has made a HUGE difference.

I work minimal hours at a minimum wage paying job and can't afford decent health insurance and payments on other utilities. A friend recommended this site because he used it and now saves on every prescription he purchases. Hopefully the savings can help me invest in other important issues so I don't have to worry about having enough money to pay for my medications.

When I was in college and barely making it, I had no problem with insurance for my daughter. Now that I supposedly have "made it" and have a good job, I've found that health insurance is out of my reach. I am right in the middle: I make too much to qualify for state health programs and too little to afford the insurance through work.
