Life is full of trials and tribulations

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

I was in a coma for 11 months 5 years ago which still causes me pain and other issues. Last Christmas I was deliberately run down by a car and am unable to work at this time ( I should have had 2 additional surgeries but I can't afford them) On top of everything else I suffer from severe depressive bipolar disease which I have had to leave uncared for do to lack of insurance and $$$$$$$$$$$$$ isn't that always the trouble. But I truly believe God has reasons for the things he does and one day I'll find out what mine is! There has to some reason he's pulled me away from the edge so many times!
Thank you.
God Bless

I m suffering from above named disease A.S. since almost 10 years , This is the disease which is not curable but it is controllable. Beginning i got shocked and depressed that i have this disease , then later time goes i realize i have to accept reality and by accepting these realities i m living according. In this disease i lost confidence ,because of that my engagement got cancel. But this is life and its goes on. Right now i m leaving with my parents and doing part time job, n you people know that how expensive here the medicines ,i heard about you , so i thought let me apply to get this card and get relief in cost of medicines by getting discounts. In winter i get lots of stiffness and i can not work ,so i have to be very careful .

NEVER SAY THERE'S NO HOPE

Friday, February 8th, 2008

As a single, hispanic and under a low level income mom; it has been up the hill to raise a family. Specially when moral values and goals to achieved has been set for you and your love ones. Still the hope that things will get better someday helps us along the way. When I heard on the news about your program I felt wonderful!. Finally! I shouted to my kids.
Maybe after this Single moms will see some changes, that eventually will reflect on a society more sensitive to others in need. Maybe senators and politics will see that beyond those less fortunate are still great inventions and ideas that will be benefit all human beings. In the meantime, I never gave hope, I bought my kids house, I graduated from College, I got a job but still my health is in risk. I have no medical insurance….. BUT HOPE STILLS PREVAILS…..

Thanks,
