FREE prescription card

Monday, February 4th, 2008

I am currently a full time student in college studying pharmacology and toxicology. I have been covered under my parents health insurance and as of December 31st 2007 I was dropped due to the fact that I turned 23 in the month of December and the plan only covered me until the age of 23. In the month of November, I had been back and forth to the doctors and in the hospital due to the fact that I had caught the bacterial infection MRSA which is a severe staff infection that is resistant to many medications. The infection had spread a total of six times before it was really cured (so I thought). I was put on a few different medications for this and the one medication was $100 for 10 pills and that was the cost while I had insurance. The cost without insurance is outrageous! Since then the MRSA has come back and I am going to need more prescriptions however I no longer have health insurance and I cannot afford the prices on some of these medications therefore I am here applying for this prescription card in order to save some money so I can get these medications filled.

I have two daughters who have asthma. My husband got laid off work and so now we are having a hard time getting their meds they need everyday ..We need some kind of help.My youngest 7,bad on her asthma. If she doesn't get her treatments in everyday, she can have an attack.I don't want to go through that again. She was in the hospital at age 4 with her chest out like 3d.It scared me really bad.I was with her for 5 days and 4 nights.I don't want to relive that ever again. My oldest daughter who is 9 have allergies with her asthma.I have a hard time with her and her allergies. When they get really bad she has a hard time trying to catch her breath.I have a hard time keeping up with them both. Then we run out of medicine and have trouble trying to get new ones.

I'm a 64 year old man without any coverage and just spent a week in the hospital. I almost died, but here I am.
